Happy Easter!

I was trying some stuff with a PhoenixDoubleNova (Julia) (dmj.ufm) fractal earlier today, and I discovered that changing the bailout value to 1E-12 and colouring it with Fibers And Things (reb.ucl) creates a really neat result. It is somewhat similar to a Phoenix (Julia) coloured with Triangle Inequality Average, although I prefer to colour my Phoenix fractals with Thin Orbit Traps II. Anyway, this is what I came up with after playing around for a while. A lovely abstract Easter fractal. Enjoy!
And because Fibers And Things is my favourite colouring algorithm at the moment, I have included two more fractals where I have used it. This one is a Phoenix (Julia) (standard.ufm) fractal with Fibers And Things and TIA/fBm + (jam2.ucl). Shiny! =D
This is Magnet2 (Julia) (dmj.ufm) formula with Fibers And Things and Sine-Mod III (tma.ucl) colouring.

Futuristic Design

Nothing much to say about this one, it's just another quickie Sine-Mod_III fractal. I think it looks metallic, bloody and futuristic ^^
I used the Ducky Revisited M (ea.ufm) formula.

Sand And Mercury

This one is from the same fractal as Bloodshed part 2, just with different colours and slightly changed textures. The title is from a The Gathering song ^^
Phoenix Julia(standard.ufm) and Sine-Mod_III (tma.ucl).

Bloodshed part 2

I had some fun with Sine-Mod_III today, and I ended up with a fractal that was somewhat similar to Bloodshed. I made two versions of it, and they pretty much look the same except for a few small details. I prefer the first one though.
The formula is Phoenix Julia. Enjoy! =)

Trippy Easter Eggs

I.. I don't really know what to say about this one. It's strange-looking and not particularly pretty, but at least it's not as painful to look at as the last fractal I made. This is another Sine-Mod_III(tma.ucl) fractal, with Slope(Cubic Roots-Julia) (reb.ufm). I love Sine-Mod_III, simply because it's so weird and versatile. It works well with pretty much any formula, and I always end up with something funny-looking when I use it. I think I might make a post showing all my Sine-Mod fractals later :)
Anyways, enjoy! Click for a bigger view with lots of delicious details!

Meh

Today has been a pretty crappy day.. I had to get up at 8 (way too early!), walk to the university for my 10 am religion lecture and then wait 3 hours for my history lecture. I forgot to buy bread yesterday, so I only had a banana, some cashew nuts and an apple for lunch (I'm too poor to buy sandwiches). By the time the history lecture started I was feeling dizzy and had a horrible headache, but somehow I managed to get through it without my brain exploding. I even managed to stop by Tesco to buy dinner on my way home!
Unfortunately, not even a yummy dinner could make my day better. My malfunctioning brain still hurts and I haven't been able to do anything productive at all. I've only played 'The Secret of The Stars' on my SNES emulator and made a quickie fractal. I'm not sure how I feel about the fractal because the colours actually hurt my eyes. Oh well, I think this is enough whining for today. This fractal was made with Rolf Freericks' Spider formula and Sine-Mod III colouring. Enjoy!
